What is this class all about?
If you are looking to make the transition from a video camera to a DSLR camera let Michael Sato from Satostudios give you a jump start on camera operation, Lenses, stabilization, and work flow. Learn how to use your Canon 7d,5d, 550d, 1dmkiv to fit your video needs. Weather you are a current film maker, photographer, or just starting out he will help you become an expert to fit your projects.

Michael offers 1 day 4 or 6 hour workshops or a 2 day complete training.

What’s in the 4 hour class?

In Michael’s 4 hour class you will begin learning the basics of your camera:
1. How to properly expose your shot (iso,aperture,shutter speed)
2. Lenses you will need for different situations.
3. Stabilizing units (sliders, jibs, Glidecams, tripods, Monopods, Hand-held mounts)
4. Audio (everything from onboard recording to standalone units)
5. Post Production (tutorial on how to edit your footage in FCP)

Michael’s 6 hour class you will learn everything as in his 4 hour class but you will also get to shoot with various tools and edit a small piece.

In his 1 or 2 day workshop you will lern everything from the 4 and 6 hour class in more detail. We will have a bride and groom to shoot as well with a mock ceremony. This class is designed so you can have the confidence to become the DSLR film maker, Wedding, or Corporate shooter.

Location: We are located in Sacramento California USA. We are available to travel to accommodate your needs based on travel fees. We are in development of some nationwide training workshops and Online classes.
